1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, mobile phone) by websites you visit. They allow the website to recognise your device and remember information about your visit, such as preferences and login status.
This Cookies Policy explains how SPS EOS TOURS Ltd ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies on the Partner Portal at https://b2b.eos.tours.
This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. Our Approach to Cookies
We use the minimum number of cookies strictly necessary to operate the Portal. We do not use:
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Plausible, etc.) — we do not track aggregated user behaviour through cookies.
- Marketing or advertising cookies (Meta Pixel, Google Ads, retargeting pixels, etc.) — the Portal does not serve advertising.
- Profiling cookies — we do not build behavioural profiles of users.
- Third-party social media cookies — there are no embedded social media widgets on the Portal.
This means no consent banner is displayed when you visit the Portal, because the only cookies in use are strictly necessary for delivering the service you have requested (logging in, navigating the Portal). This is permitted under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) without prior consent.
3. Cookies We Use
The following table lists all cookies set by the Portal.
| Cookie name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|
sid |
Strictly necessary | Maintains your authenticated session after login. Without this cookie, you would need to log in on every page. | Session (deleted when browser closes) | EOS Tours (1st party) |
system_user |
Strictly necessary | Indicates that the current session is a logged-in user (vs. a public visitor). Controls which navigation and content are shown. | Session | EOS Tours (1st party) |
full_name |
Strictly necessary | Displays the logged-in Partner's agency name in the top bar. | Session | EOS Tours (1st party) |
user_id |
Strictly necessary | Identifies the user account for all authenticated requests. | Session | EOS Tours (1st party) |
All cookies above are first-party cookies set by the eos.tours domain. No third-party cookies are placed.
CSRF protection is implemented via an HTML meta tag rather than a cookie. Anti-spam protection on the public partner application form (Cloudflare Turnstile) sets short-lived cookies on challenges.cloudflare.com only when the challenge is presented; no Cloudflare cookies persist on the eos.tours domain.
4. Cookies and the ePrivacy Directive
Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC, as amended) prohibits the storing or accessing of information on a user's device without their prior consent, except where strictly necessary for the operation of a service that the user has explicitly requested.
All cookies listed in §3 fall under this exception:
- Session cookies (
sid,system_user,full_name,user_id) — strictly necessary to maintain a logged-in session, without which the Portal cannot function.
Because we use no other categories of cookies, no consent banner is required by EU law.
If at any time we introduce non-essential cookies (e.g. analytics or marketing), we will:
- Update this Policy in advance.
- Display a cookie consent banner allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies before they are set.
- Honour your choice and store your preference.
5. Managing Cookies
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View what cookies are stored;
- Delete some or all cookies;
- Block cookies from being set;
- Block third-party cookies specifically.
Note: if you disable or delete the cookies listed in §3, the Portal will not function correctly — you will not be able to stay logged in.
Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
6. Other Tracking Technologies
We do not use:
- Web beacons or tracking pixels;
- Local storage or session storage for tracking purposes (only for functional state required by the Portal);
- Fingerprinting techniques;
- Tracking via URL parameters across third parties.
The Portal uses standard server-side logging of HTTP requests (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and operational purposes only — this is described in the Privacy Policy under "Technical data" and does not rely on cookies.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time, particularly if we change the cookies we use.
- Material changes (e.g. introducing analytics or marketing cookies) — published in advance with a consent banner appearing before any non-essential cookies are set.
- Minor changes (typographical corrections, reformatting) — published without notification.
The "Effective from" date at the top reflects the latest version.
